The famous New York ice cream shop, Big Gay Ice Cream is teaming up with Chicago’s own Cold Storage, Monday, June 24 through Sunday, June 30, to serve a variety of sweets such as Pride Pops and Rocky Roadhouse Criossants. Cold Storage will scoop up the Pride Sundae (made with rainbow sherbet, mango, fruit jam, and coconut whip) for the entire month of June. A portion of the proceeds from these delightful desserts will be donated to Chicago's Howard Brown Health Center.

Want an elegant setting to do a good deed? Head over to the classically beautiful Peninsula Chicago, which offers cleverly designed rainbow eats and drinks at Z Bar, Shanghai Terrace, Pierrot Gourmet and The Lobby all June long. The proceeds from the colorful specials are donated to the The Trevor Project, which provides crisis intervention and support for LGBTQ+ youth. We can’t wait to slice into that rainbow cake at The Lobby or taste the rainbow dumplings at Shanghai Terrace.

Chicago’s favorite fast casual ramen restaurant, Furious Spoon, will offer its Pride Bowl all June. Each vibrant bowl creates a perfect rainbow with sweet-chili shrimp, spicy miso, chili-infused noodles, napa cabbage, vegetable broth, scallions, sweet corn, and Fresno chilies. For each Pride Bowl sold, $2 will be donated to Howard Brown Health Center, which seeks to eliminate the healthcare disparities experienced by LGBTQ+ people. With eight locations in Chicago's First Lady, it’s a convenient meal you can feel good about.

Chill out in River North with a Pride popsicle! In celebration of Pride Week, Tallboy Taco is selling Boozy Rainbow Paletas from Monday, June 24 through Saturday, June 29. One dollar from each popsicle spiked with Brugal Rum, will be donated to the Center on Halsted, the most comprehensive LGBTQ+ community center in the Midwest. Pop by and celebrate with them!

Just Salad, the national chain known for their focus on sustainability, offers the Just Proud Salad through June 30. To include all LGBTQIA+ identities, the popular salad has been renamed, and was formerly known as the Big Gay Garden Salad. One dollar from each salad sold will go to LGBTQ+ organizations around the country; locally, the Center on Halsted. With this salad, you’re eating healthily, sustainably, and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. What more could you ask for?
