Local Theater
Head to the Goodman Theatre to get your fill of great, locally produced musicals and plays! While located in the Loop's commercial theatre district where tourists often go to see shows like "Hamilton" or "The Book of Mormon", The Goodman is even more true to Chicago's iconic theatre scene. In the mood for something a bit more edgy? Head north to Old Town to see a play at Steppenwolf Theatre - another prestigious, local theatre that also has a cafe and bar to grab a bite or a drink before or after your show!

St. Pat's Clover Cruise
Everyone in Chicago (and around the world, really) knows that this city goes all out for St. Patrick's Day. Luckily, our St. Patrick's Clover Cruise provides all the fun of the day all while being able to avoid the crowds! Watch the river dyeing from a private boat, and enjoy Irish music, themed drinks and food from the river instead of at a crowded bar or outside near the riverwalk! This fun Chicago sightseeing cruise is a can't-miss Chicago experience.
International Museum of Surgical Science
We're all familiar with the larger museums around the city, like The Art Institute, Museum of Science Industry, or the Field Museum - but have you visited the International Museum of Surgical Science in Gold Coast? From displaying original x-rays taken in 1910 to skulls from ancient Peru and even fine art, this museum is truly one of a kind. One reviewer on Google said "The place is very well maintained and is a treasure trove of interesting, weird and sometimes scary medical history facts. The museum is definitely a must-go if you are in the city."

A Pizzeria Worth the Trip
Because Chicago is famous for it, we're all familiar with the standard deep dish pizza places we take friends and family to when they're in town to visit. But Chicago has a rich history and love for thin crust pizza as well! Vito & Nick's Pizzeria on the south side is a beloved local favorite! It is cash-only, delicious and exactly what you want in a local pizza place. Fun fact: it was also featured on The Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri!

RPM Seafood with River Views
We love the Chicago Riverwalk, so we're always excited when new things pop up! RPM Seafood (you know - like RPM Steak and RPM Italian started by Chicago native, Bill Rancic in partnership with Lettuce Entertain You) is a gorgeous new restaurant overlooking the river that JUST opened up on Thursday, January 23rd and people are already loving it.

Lush, Wintery Escape in Chicago
Garfield Park Conservatory is one of the biggest conservatories in the country, and we're so lucky to be able to visit it for free year-round ! You'll be impressed by the photo-worthy and lush landscape encapsulated by glass. Plus if you want something a bit more special to do, they're always hosting fun events - like "Beer Under Glass" which hosts 100 brewers whose brews attendees get to enjoy tastes of while taking in the breathtaking greenery!

Brunch and Views
We know pretty much every Chicagoan is familiar with Cindy's, but we all love it for a reason! From brunch to great cocktails to dinner, Cindy's is absolutely delicious - but the view from the rooftop is truly unmatched. We all know it can be notoriously difficult to get a table, so remember to plan this outing ahead of time and make a reservation in advance.
